Overview

In a falling film evaporator, the feed water flows as a thin film over the internal surface of tubes, promoting efficient heat exchange. This system minimizes wetting and reduces scaling, which ensures long-term operational performance. The vapor generated during the process is separated in a vapor separator, enhancing product purity. For increased energy efficiency, these systems are often used with multiple-effect arrangements.

Designed specifically for handling reverse osmosis reject water with TDS levels exceeding 40,000 mg/L, our falling film evaporators can evaporate up to 90% of the feed and produce concentrated output of 300 grams per liter.
