The ATFD consists of a vertical cylindrical shell with a heating jacket and an internal rotor equipped with pendulum blades. These blades form a thin film of the feed product over the heated surface, facilitating efficient drying while maintaining product integrity. Vapors generated rise counter-currently and are separated through a cyclone separator before condensation.
Designed for continuous processing, the ATFD is suitable for both vacuum and atmospheric operations depending on product sensitivity.
